My first introduction to "eschatology" came in the form of the 1972 movie, "A Thief in the Night." As a little kid, that movie scared me to death because every time I found myself alone for the rest of my childhood, I was convinced that the rapture had come and I had been left behind. This begins a brand new series on a hot topic in our modern culture: "Getting Ready for the End of the World." The End Times are the subject of rumors, conjecture, deception, books, movies and some straight out weird stuff. Come join me as we separate fact from fiction. A couple of promises as we start: there will be no timeline charts, I will not pick a date, you will not have to relive Y2K, and there will be no weirdness allowed!
