Passage: Luke 10:25-37
The compassion of Jesus has always been compelling to me. Over and over in scripture, Jesus is moved to tears, and each time there is a common thread: people. Jesus cries because they are lost. He cries because they don’t understand. Jesus cries because they are spiritually blind. Jesus cries because they are searching for a Messiah and He is right there in front of them. As we wrap up our series “Inside Out” we'll see that the compassion of Jesus is transferable, and we'll learn what it means to see people as Jesus sees people.
