I love the biblical account of Jonah. I love it because it is full of tension, raw conversations, bad attitudes, an evil city and an even bigger fish! At the heart of the book is a man who ran from the mission God gave him. Jonah avoided God, ran from God, finally obeyed God, copped an attitude with God, and ultimately had a showdown with God that revealed a side of God Jonah didn’t know existed. Jonah comes face to face with the compassion of a God who is on a mission to save humanity from itself. Listen as we are confronted with our own response to God's mission.
